Karen Myers S.A.C. Dip FHPT, S.A.C Dip FHPP
I am a fully qualified and registered Foot Health Practitioner, having completed an Advanced Foot Health Practitioner Diploma through Stonebridge Associated College, where I achieved a Distinction at Level 4 in Foot Health Practice in 2010. This qualification is accredited by the NCFE - the UK's longest established awarding body. I am a member of The Alliance of Private Sector Practitioners (under register member number AR9482). My details may also be found on the Register for Foot Health Professionals (RFHP)
I am a fully qualified Aromatherapist, Reflexologist and Holistic Massage therapist, having gained my Practitioner qualifications through IEB (International Examination Board) at Renbardou School for Complementary Therapies, in 1996. I have also studied Advanced Reflexology Techniques (A.R.T), a Level 5 module, accredited by the University of Plymouth.
I hold a current HSE First Aid at Work certificate and am fully insured through Balens Ltd, for all of the work I undertake.
I have a true belief that good health, both physical and psychological, are key to happiness and contentment. I have always had a passionate interest in wellbeing and healthcare, be it within conventional medical healthcare, where I have had many years experience working in a variety of healthcare settings in Surrey and the South West, or within the complementary healthcare sector. My mission is to deliver the highest quality standard of care to all patients, meeting or exceeding their expectations through providing a caring, professional and confidential service at all times.
I have patients who visit me, by appointment, at one of my clinics. Patients whose homes I visit, on a domiciliary basis and patients who I visit in Care Homes and Retirement Villages.
